Rory Fraser is an award-winning historian, painter, presenter – and unapologetic architecture nerd. Rory is fascinated by how architecture encapsulates ideas and, as the most accessible of art-forms, acts as the best vehicle through which to examine history.

Rory explored this in his first book which he also illustrated - Follies: An Architectural Journey (2020). A five-part documentary of the book written and presented by Rory was released in 2022.

Rory has an MPhil in Art & Architectural History from Cambridge University, where he focused on the English Baroque and its relationship with the Mughal Empire. Rory lives in London where he divides his time between lecturing, drawing and writing his forthcoming book with William Collins.
